Old Friends are missed

Today I called back to my old office for some info needed at my new office. I got to talk to "M". Remember her? She's been my very best knitting student, and she's still knitting.

Homesick in Germany

Today has been one that I can't wait to end. Not sure why, but I've been homesick most of the day. So here's a few of the things I miss:

I got a hair cut!

So what's the big deal, you ask?

Well it's my first hair cut since I left Texas in January. I was afraid to try a new hair stylist. Yvette (in Texas) spoiled me. She just knew what to do.

The new girl, Petra, did a great job. She layered my hair and styled it so I can just wash, dry and go.

It looks and feels so much better.

Oh, and I got a shipment of yarn!!!!! Got to go play with yarn.

No knitting photos today

I have been knitting...honest I have

This is a toddler's vest with buttons at top seam. Why, cause most kids hate having a sweater pulled over the head!

I've also knitted some hats and baby sweaters, but didn't take photos before they were given away. You know me... always giving my knitting away.

I've got to start working on Christmas stuff. I know my oldest daughter expects a sweater and the middle kid expects scarfs in "Jacksonville Jag's colors". So I'd better get knitting.
