We're going away for a few days. Tommy (son) arrives in SA in a few hours. Tomorrow morning we leave for Louisanna. Going to see nephew's high school graduation. Also going to stop at the casino for a couple days.
See you next week, unless I hit the jackpot, then I might stay away awhile longer.
Keep on Knitting

Physical Therapy?
My shoulder pain has a name; it’s rotator cuff disorder, with inflammation of the tendons (tendinitis). Last week my regular Doctor gave me a referral to Physical Therapy and today was my first visit. It seems that as you get older (no jokes about age please), this can happen especially if you already have arthrutis. This also causes the nerves down my arm to burn and my fingers to tingle.
Using my shoulder is painful. To make it worse, is the girl that’s been cleaning for me called yesterday. She’s got a full time job and won’t be able to work for me anymore. I knew at the start that it was just temp, but what a disappointment. Tom has said that he’ll do it. Yeah right, I have trouble getting him to clean under the bird cage (his birds, not mine!).
At least if I go to physical therapy, do the stretching exercises and remember to be careful on how I use my shoulder, the shoulder will get better. So I don’t have to give up knitting for awhile. That’s a relief. I don’t know what I’d do without my knitting.
Speaking of knitting, I’m working on a toddler sweater for a co-workers grandchild. I know it’s 91 decrees here in San Antonio. The boy lives in Washington state and I’m making it a larger size. Photos to come.
PS: my son arrives on Friday!!!! He's staying for 10 days. When he leaves my middle daughter comes with her family. For years no one has visited us in Texas. Now in 3 weeks I'll have two kids, 1 SIL and 3 grandkids. WOW.

The front yard is finished
Since buying this house in 2002, I’ve hated the driveway. It’s curved in such away that it’s very difficult to use the garage. So we seldom put the BMW into the garage. Until recently the garage was used as a big storage unit. Once I got the Miata I started parking in the garage but that meant moving the BMW every time I wanted to drive the Miata. There was just no way to park the BMW in the driveway and still pull the Miata out of the garage.
Well, that’s fixed now. We had the front yard landscaped and enlarged the driveway at the same time. It not only looks great but now we don’t have to play car rotation every morning. Doesn’t it look great!
