Someone fix the clock!!!

I’ve come to the conclusion that week (work) days are longer in Germany than in Texas. Here’s my reasoning:
1. It get’s light long before I have to leave for work. That never happened in San Antonio. Of course, in SA my hours were 0600 to 1500 and here in Germany I have to work 0730 to 1630. But that can’t be the cause.
2. There’s traffic coming in the gate when I come to work. Again my work schedule can’t be the reason that everyone’s coming to work at the same time.
3. The clock seems to take forever to get to Lunch time. Which by the way is not until 1130.
4. The lunch hour flies by, so I’m sure the clock is fixed to run faster.
5. After lunch the clock again slows down. There are at least 6 hours between 1300 (1pm ) and 1600 (4pm).
6. The computer’s slow down to a crawl. Now that I think I can explain. About this time, the rest of the world (after all Texas is a whole other country), is waking up. They all get on line and over work the system.
7. Now once the clock finely hits 1630 (4:30pm) the time begins to fly. Everyone that was in a hurry to get to work at 0730 are now rushing to get off the base. And they are all trying to get out the same gate I have to use.
8. After 1700 (5pm) the clock starts to fly. Once I get home, eat dinner and turn on the TV (only Armed Forces TV stations), the clock tells me it’s time to go to bed. I know I’ve only been home a couple hours, but its 2000 (10pm) already. But it’s still light outside. Good thing the German houses have outside shades that block out the light.
9. Then it’s bed time and the clock continues its fast run to morning.
So I’ve explained why the Work days are so long, but why are the weekends so short?Does this seem wrong to anyone else?

Happy Mother's Day

The flowers are from the "kids". They smell so nice. Such a suprise!

And Tom gave me the Bose portable Ipod system. Love it! The sound coming from this little box is better than any "big" stereo system I've ever heard.
