Knitting Wednesday

This week some of our group worked on a double rib (knit 2 purl 2) and some continued to work on their special projects.

Deb T worked on her double rib hat. She’s moving right along. She also amused us with a story about her husband. She’s been working hard on practicing her stitches at home. It seems that she mentioned to her husband that she’s always dropping stitches. He got the vacuum cleaner and told her he’d clean them up. Of course, now he’s telling her to quit messing up the house with her dropped stitches.

Deb H is working on booties for her twin grandkids. They were born this past week, ahead of schedule. She’s working hard to get them finished.

AW worked hard on the purl stitch. She says that she hates purling and wanted to know if the purl stitch is really necessary. Of course, she made me smile.

Some knitting

I've been working on the cardigan for "T". I'm using lots of left over yarn. The back is finished up to where the raglan sleeves start. Both front sides are being worked at the same time. This is because I want to make sure that they match. So far so good.
Daughter Trina is trying to keep on my good side by making sure I don't ground her for lack of photos.

Here's a few photos of the kids.
