She wore it and when she outgrew it, her mother saved it. A few years later another girl was added to the family, and the knitted dress was pulled out and the newest baby girl wore the dress.
Recently I found the picture, then looked for the pattern. I found it. I just may have to knit it again.
Oh, and the little girl is now almost 14. How quick they grow up.
