If I could just get organized!

There may be nothing wrong with you,
the way you live, the work you do
but I can very plainly see
exactly what is wrong with me.

It isn’t that I’m indolent,
or dodging duty by intent.
I work as hard as anyone
yet I get so little done.

The morning goes, noon is here
Before I know the night is near
And all around me I regret
Are things I haven’t finished yet.

If I could only get organized
I often time have realized
Not all that matters is the man
The man must also have a plan.

With you there may be nothing wrong
But here’s my trouble right along
I do the things that don’t amount
To very much of any account.

They really seemed important though
And I let a lot of other matters go
I nibble this, I nibble that
But never finish what I’m at.

I work as hard as any one
And yet I get so little done
I’d do so much, you’d be surprised
If I could just get organized.

Note: Two hours into the "great craft room clean up". Do you see the mess? It's worst than before I started cleaning. Two hours, three trash bags, two good will bags filled and who knows how many tubs of yarn. Hey, I did manage to get the closet cleaned. Maybe tomorrow I'll fill it back up again.

Too much yarn??

Is there such a thing as too much yarn, or too many knitting books? I think not! But I have made a promise to myself to clean the craft room. I can't find my favorite baby pattern. Not sure which plastic bin it's in. Or is it in the cabinet or it could be in the file cabinet. Gee, I guess it's really time to clean the room.. Maybe Saturday, or maybe not. In any case, I'll try to remember to take before and after photos.

This is my grandaughter, Danielle. Isn't she a doll.

There's been a whole lot of knitting going on!

This past week I've finished 3 projects.

Remember my Left Over Yarn Sweater? Well, it's finished and it's still too small for me, but it should fit my granddaughter, Meghan. I'll send it off as soon as I have something for her brother, Davey. No way I'd send just one grandkid a gift... oh, that means I owe Missy's kids too.

Sounds like a shopping trip to me. This one really turned out nice. So nice, I've already started knitting one for me (right size this time).

Second project finished is the pink baby sweater. This is the sweater that I found a mistake in the back when I checked the photo. It's in a size one. This is one of my design on the fly knits and I am very proud of it.

The last project is a shawl/cape that I knitted for my friend Cathy S's mother. I sure hope she likes it. It knitted up really quick and didn't take as much yarn as I expected. Another of my designs.

Tomorrow's another knit class. I'll try to take photos to share.

I've finished the Left Over Yarn Sweater and have photos, but I haven't uploaded them yet. Maybe tomorrow.

Danielle and Missy just returned to Florida from DC (School Trip). Of course, Missy didn't want to get grounded by Aurora, so she put photos on line for me.
Although it was freezing, they seem to have had a very good time.Missy seems to be trying to look like one of the paintings.

Trina, also put a few photos on Flickr so she's not grounded either. I just love Flickr and the internet.

Meghan is a coach on the little girls basketball team. She's growing up too fast.
