Signs, signs everywhere there are signs

Paris is full of signs. Why did I keep taking photos of them? Who knows, but I did.

Back from Paris

Yes, I'm back BUT I'm too tired to mess with the photos (100+).

We got back just after 2am. That's 24 hours from start to finish. 5 hour drive (+1 hour dinner break). That leaves 12 hours in Paris.

Here's some things I intend to blog about when I am up to thinking clearly:

Paris Traffic (WILD)

Bike and motor cycle riders (dangerous)

Parking (Bumper to Bumper)

WALKING (to much)

Notre-Dame (couldn't get inside)

Arc de Triomphe (impressive)

Dome des Invalides (Tomb of Napoleon I)

Eiffel tower (did you know there's a toilet on the top floor? There is... I used it, cost 50 cents)

and of course my traveling companion "C" and her drinking problem.

Last word for today: It was a long trip, the weather was perfect, "C" knew the city and made it easier to get around, it was very crowded, and I'M STILL TIRED.

I'm going to Paris in the morning!

And by morning I mean 2am! We catch the USO bus at 2am! I didn't know that was a real time. But I'm going......

We get back Sunday morning around 2am.

Hope I can sleep on the bus.

I'm taking Tom's little sony camera, cause I don't want to carry my big one all day. I'll take photos (you know I will), but you won't see them until I get some sleep on Sunday (after I drive home of course).

I know... I know

I know I’ve been delinquent in my “blogging” and I don’t have an excuse. I’ve been working and knitting and sleeping. The days just seem to go by before I know it. When I’m not at work, I’m knitting or on the internet. You got to love Yahoo IM and the video. Missy and kids get on almost daily. She calls me about 5pm here so it’s morning in Florida. I get to watch the kids and Jack and Aurora will talk and show me what they’ve been doing. The oldest “D” doesn’t talk much; guess being almost 13 means you don’t have to talk with your grandparents. She’s so sweet and such a beautiful smile, just going through that “teen” stuff.
So since I haven’t’ been taking photos, I show you some of Missy’s.

Oh, and I'm going to Paris next Saturday. I promise I'll take photos.
